510 windshield

Does anyone know of any supplier that will ship windshields?  Looking for a ‘72 510.  I’m on the east coast.  Found one place but the shipping was more than the windshield.

We had a company bringing in windshields from China up to a couple yeas ago but they folded - www.prosourceglassintl.com

 

Windshields are available as you have found.  I suggest working through a major installation chain as they may be able to move stock from warehouse to warehouse without passing that charge on to you.

I just did a search for vintage windshield replacements and found this place:

They do ship but it cost almost as much as the windshield. Maybe its the place you already found.

Thanks for the info.  I ended up finding one at Thru-way auto glass in Syracuse ,NY.  $291.60 with tax

I ended up finding it back in January.  It was through an internet search but I don’t remember the specifics.  I’m pretty sure it was a warehouse to warehouse move because it was a few days before I was given the call that it came in. The part number on the invoice is

FW00204GTNN GT     There is also an email quote on the invoice from “MYGRANT BELLEVILLE”.   There’s a Belleville in Ontario Canada so maybe it originated from there?
