Good luck finding a 2000 5 speed. Rebuild parts and made of rare and expensive unattainium. Roadsters were raced to death and gear boxes were in high demand and pretty much used up. A 720 SD22 or SD25 diesel 5 speed can be modified to fit and work with the roadster clutch.... or even better the diesel front case fitted to the later FS5W71C. Quote Link to comment

(The “I am not a robot” word to enter is on the cover page, namely DatsunSports) there is Keith Williams in Vegas who rebuilds roadster SU’s as well. 5 speed swap requires driveshaft, .180 spacer plate between engine and trans, and of course the trans. 1600’s can be stroked to 2L as well, lots of info on 311s. 1 Quote Link to comment
