Droski
Found something pretty close that could workย Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Looks like a later model internally regulated.ย Could be a maxima, 240sx, D21/hardbody.ย What makes you need to replace it? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Closest looking is from a Murano/350z or anything that had a VQ35DE. Look how friggin' thick the front case is!!!! ย Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Doesn't look like a newer, 350z, alt at all Quote Link to comment
Droski
Pretty sure I narrowed it down to 1990-1994 d21 alternator/ย 60 amp looks identical to the following pictures and has the nissan stamp!ย ย Quote Link to comment
Droski
Matt I have been having some electrical issues such as headlight flickering on and off, dead batteries after a week of not being driven, and now I'm hearing like a humming whining sound at high rpms right before upshifitng and down shifting that sounds like a supercharger lol Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Is that sound coming through the stereo? Have the alt tested at your local auto store (not 100% reliable, I'll admit). Have you checked all your grounds & voltage at the alt and at the battery at idle and at 2k rpm? Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Also, your external regulator has been bypassed, correct? Quote Link to comment
