Guest DatsuNoob
Hey guys, I'm collecting all the stuff I need for my KA swap, and clutch slave clutch master came to mind. I'll be using a 240sx tranny, and was wondering which clutch master to buy. Will the 240 one match up to my existing clutch pedal linkage, or should I buy another 620 one? Also will the stock 620 slave cylinder bolt up to my new transmission? I was looking at the OEM Nabco ones. I'm sure they're different, but does anyone know for sure? Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Use the 620 clutch master, no need to use a 240SX one (it won't fit the firewall anyway). I believe you should use a Hardbody KA clutch slave, but I'd need to know what it looked like to be sure (to clear the torsion bars). A 620 one might fit anyway but I don't know. Guest DatsuNoob
Damn torsion bars! I still have to deal with those until I get the front end worked out. My spindles haven't been shipped yet(been a long azz time too). I suppose at this point all my clutch stuff is a minor issue, and can be dealt with later after I attach my trans, new clutch and flywheel, I was just looking for some info. Good to know, Thanks Quote Link to comment
Cuts metal like mad
Use the 620 master, hardline. The fitting will have the same threads as a 240sx softline, and use the 240sx slave... I think... Just look at one at the parts store and compare to a 620 slave to be sure the shape won't cause interference. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
the 240sx is almost like a stock 510 one. so assume the line will come in from the side like a 510. I know on a 521 the line come in different ly cause of the torsion bar in the way. As with Jeff Hinos 521 he wraped the hose around the torsion bar*Half assed I would stik with the 620 one as i believe all will bolt up to the trans Quote Link to comment
