scooter
I finally figured out that porterfield makes a race pad for 4 cylinder S12 brakes! No more shitty ass rockauto pads that turn into marshmellows if you lean on them! Yayyyyyyyyyyy! Now i dont need to do another strut swap or buy wilwoods yaaaayyyyy! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's usually a trade off between wear on the rotor and braking performance. Do racing pads still brake poorly when cold? or has that been eliminated? Quote Link to comment
scooter
Some are good when cold but there some race only ones still that are shit till they get hot still. There is not many good compounds for these brakes available ($8.00 rockauto ones) which are okay for normal driving but get pooey if your getting into it on a back road so finding these pads is very welcomed.
