1979 b210 wagon 310 buying parts help

When buying parts on the internet do I purchase parts under the 210 category or 310 on a website like rock auto ? I got a 79 ac 4 speed /od wagon trying to rebuilt some what

310 or N10.... '79- '82 FWD Pulsar

210 or B310.... '79- '82 RWD

 

If you have a 210 (AKA B-310) get your parts for it. Check the engine tag it will say B310 on it if it's a 210. Confused???

If a '79 it can't be a B-210.

my emblem says 210 . But my tag says  Whlb310 . When I’m on rock auto they have options for 210 or 310 . Do I get 310 parts then ?

No, get parts for a 210. This "tag" that you speak of is part of the VIN code and or body code.
