Cardinal Grammeter
Here are some pics for reference purposes. I cannot vouch that this transmission is what is stated in the title - I bought on the word of Hooper's Auto Salvage in NC. http://imgur.com/a/Sn0EJ Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Yeah that isn't working. Try an imgur account. Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
Fuck Photobucket - total asshole mercenaries. I redid mine in Imdur and found it simple/easy and fast. Not having a full directory structure (albums in albums) is a limitation. However for long term archiving, the shameless data whore Google might be the safer bet. While they have Google Photos, I would trust Google Drive more for hosted stuff - but who can say for sure.. Hot links to Gmail pics might also be robust. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I see nothing to indicate this is not from a 720. It is a 2wd L series 5 speed and it was made after '79. It's not from an 810/Maxima or 280zx. Being an '80 720 it will be a wide ratio. 1 Quote Link to comment
Cardinal Grammeter
I'm debating on whether to rebuild it for $80 for all bearings and rings - it will need a new rear seal which they bent up. I read somewhere you have to seal the speedo connector to keep it from leaking? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They have a simple O ring. Not known for leaks Quote Link to comment
