The bushing for the shifting rod(don't know terminology) is now extremely worn and nasty. Its so bad if i let my ex drive my car she laughs bc she gets confused where 3 is compared to 1. it moves around so bad i sometimes hit my knee when putting into 1st. i have to constantly adjust it. my ex is so used to her car that has pedal shifting its like a joke when she drives mine. so is this common for datsun i mean i just got it ghetto fixed not too long ago. i mean literaly we go the old stick shift bushing and cut it so that it could hook up the tranny to the rod. It was genius except that i was left with no knob only the stick. Quote Link to comment
