Crankshaft

I recently purchased a 1982 Datson Z22. I have pulled the motor and have found that I need to replace the crankshaft. Unfortunately, I can not find one anywhere. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a new crankshaft?

Very unlikely Nissan will still have one and they are $750. Next best is a wrecking yard. Then a company that might rebuild crankshafts on an exchange basis.

If it just has a damaged bearing journal, it can be reground by any auto machine shop for next to nothing.

Yes. Even better. The journal is turned down a specific amount and a thicker bearing used to make up the difference.
