flabbychucs
I was wondering if anybody had any experience fixing or replacing the rusted out battery tray in these trucks. I really want to buy a new weld in metal box for this fancy group 8 battery I just got but I don't want to buy a universal for fears of it being too big or too small. I could make it, but I'd rather buy and replace due to time restraints. Can anybody link me or tell me where I can get a weld in box for a group 8? I know they're made for GM vehicles 60s-80s...maybe one of these are the same size as the trucks? Quote Link to comment
DanielC
This is reality. The market for replacement battery boxes that are an exact fit in a 1978 Datsun 620 is really small. Your choices are a universal fit, make something, or find a junkyard truck that has a good battery box, and cut it out. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Make one. Easiest, most accurate and least expensive solution. 2 Quote Link to comment
sebpv
I would try to replicate the stock one actually Quote Link to comment
flabbychucs
I know they don't make one specifically for these trucks but I was hoping another truck of the same era would have the same box/tray. I guess I'll explore creating one. Quote Link to comment
