datzenmike
Ok I'll look into that tomorrow also what effect would deleting the metal pipes that run from the exhaust to the air box have? They really seem to get in the way and I feel like hot exhaust doesn't help too much with the power situation These are from the exhaust manifold to the air filter???? They shouldn't get that hot. There is a one way reed valve at the air filter and each exhaust pulse travels up the pipe and bounces off the closed valve causing a small vacuum that opens the valve an sucks in a small amount of filtered air. Air should be traveling towards the exhaust manifold where it mixes with it and helps burn the emissions in the catalytic converter. Quote Link to comment
