Kirden
Well, my B210 is up and running after sitting for 12 years, but I'm having an issue with the brake lights. They won't shut off. We've checked the fuses and all of them are good and corrosion free, but I don't know what all else needs to be checked. It's a 1977 B210 coupe. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There is a switch on the brake pedal box. The brake pedal has a small pad that pushes against the switch and opens the connection. The pad can fall off and the switch doesn't open. Just tape something on it. Quote Link to comment
Kirden
Nice, thanks Mike. I'll check that out tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It may not be exactly as stated but... close. Five tens and 521 trucks have this and you can scotch tape a penny onto the brake pedal to get it working. Hell some Datsuns are adjustable, Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yes its adjustable but still uses the plastic plug. http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Pedals#Pedal-Rubber RUBBER-BRAKE PEDAL STOPPER * Black: 46512-H0101 $3.00 * Clear: 46584-S0100 * Green: 46512-H0101 Quote Link to comment
Kirden
You guys were spot on. Got under there and the plug had been pushed through the hole, broken in three pieces. Replaced it with a penny and it's working perfectly now. Quote Link to comment

Kirden
Well, it actually took 3 pennys and two pieces of "metal tape" = expensive repair :P Quote Link to comment
