]2eDeYe Posted October 3, 2008 Report Share Posted October 3, 2008 Going to 2.5" from the 1" (or whatever stock size is) is gonna wake up any motor, but optimum efficiency on an L is probably between 1.75" to 2" depending on your cam. A real big cam and carbs will need to breath more though and would need a bigger exhaust. Dave your runnin that 44 right? Are you running a bigger cam too? Also, don't forget you gotta squeeze that tube through a small hole near the tailshaft and that torsion arm mess. Running it underneath is ok if you don't plan to lower it...but I ripped that shit off on speed bumps quick. Quote Link to comment
