orangie
Anybody have a good way of stripping off grime without stripping off the cadmium or other plating. My ultrasonic bath works to well. The parts come clean, but the corrosion protection comes off as well. I've tried a few other solvents, but they never work completely well. Some of it may not be cleanable. The coating may already be damaged. Just looking for suggestions. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Superclean? I'm not sure if it harms cad plating, but it's what I would try. http://www.supercleanbrands.com/products#17 1 Quote Link to comment

abbylind
If you are just shining it up... 000 steel wool or a wad of aluminum foil. Wear gloves Quote Link to comment
