I pulled the original fuel pump and found a spacer that looks like it is Phenolic. The new fuel pump came with 2 gaskets so it makes sense that the spacer has a gasket on each side. What is this made of and should I remove it and use new gaskets on both sides? The service manuals do not address this. Any help is appreciated. Quote Link to comment
