Seansm10
I was told budget up to 200$ for materials. So like 900 for a pair of seats. She said vinyl bolsters, and leather /cloth centres, which is standard practice she insisted. I know nothing about the profession so I feel the equivilent of being a completely Unknowing girl walking into a shop and being potentially taken advantage of lol. Hopefully none of these guys tell me I need a new flux capacitor for my seats or some recliner fluid Quote Link to comment

For properly done leather seats, any surface that touches you while in it should be leather, the rest will always be vinyl. So the entire face of those should be leather. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
And honestly, if you can find out for sure what they are from, I'd just order new covers and redo them yourself. Something like this... http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/SuperCat/912M/POR_912M_INTSTS_pg5.htm#item20 That way you know they are done properly. If your foam is good, it will only take a few hours to do that. Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
Those prices are astronomical actually. and as Datsunfreak said, anything you sit in or that flexes alot should be leather, not vinyl. Quote Link to comment
Dat(lucky ol)Sun
I purchased a nice pair of jeep Cherokee seats for my 81 King for$50 off CL. I used a road marker sign for the sheet metal to move mounts 4 inches! Pure luxury now Quote Link to comment
