Justin
I have a bunch of datsun parts I snagged from a 510 guy who was "getting out of the scene". Among these parts is (what looks) to be a 32/36 carb with choke plate missing. I haven't messed with it at all because my understanding is that datsuns need there choke plates to run. Is this true??? Or can I hold onto this this thing for a back-up when I need to do a rebuild??? Thanks! >Justin Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Chokes are handy for cold starting and drive ability till warmed up. If the temps go much below 50-60F you would rather have one. Quote Link to comment
yello620
Sell it to me, as i need one that i can install my choke plates into, or just hang onto it as a spare. Another option that i need to check into is racetep.com has a ad on there site for universal 32/36 replacement carb tops. The pics dont work on the page and no prices are listed. Racetep is usually a little spendy, but they always have what i need. So it might not be worth the price of a replacement carb top. Jason Quote Link to comment
