LUIS COLCHETE
Hi! I need a new header/exhaust for my A12 engine, the original one dont fits with my new intake (twin mikunis 40PHH). Please advise me where i can find one,or anyone who have the experience. Many thanks, Luis Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Use one from an A14. This type works with most intake manifolds because it does not bolt to the intake. As a bonus it is higher flow than an A12 manifold. H89 Quote Link to comment
LUIS COLCHETE
Thanks I will search on ebay, or if you kmow where i can find, it is perfect. My car is Left Hand Drive, LHD or RHD fits Ok? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
This is the ultimate A14 cast header. Flows as good as untuned tubular headers, fits better is quieter and lasts longer. A12 GX $200-$600 With either manifold you will need to modify the downpipe for 3-bolt fastening. Quote Link to comment

LUIS COLCHETE
Please advice me a store... The A14 header with round holes fits ok with my round A12 motorhead? Do you have a cast iron header or 4 - 1 header stainless steel Many thanks Luis Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
A12 has square exhaust ports A14 has square exhaust ports Exhaust manifolds bolt the same. Headers are the same. Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
I cannot recommend a store for LHD headers. They all require some modification to install. Often the need to be heated, bent, or re-welded to fit right. Usually the intake manifold needs to be ground for clearance. I recommend using a cast iron exhaust manifold. It fits perfectly. Never comes loose and need tightening. Never wears out. Runs cooler. Is quieter. Needs zero maintenance. And will fit with sidedraft intake manifolds without grinding the manifold. ggzilla
Do you have a cast iron header or 4 - 1 header stainless steel I said my 1200 last October. It was RHD and had a stainless steel header. Like any header it had exhaust leaks. It needed to be rewelded. It was a thing of beauty. Similar header is $700 from South Yokohama Quote Link to comment
LUIS COLCHETE
Many thanks for your explication I will find an A14 header... On doubt The A14 Header has the same square passage than the A12 Header. They are the same size? I can buy a RHD or LHD A14 header dont make any difference. Luis Quote Link to comment
