rbastedo
The A15 in my Midget is smoking more and more so I want to rebuild one of my spare motors before I have to pull the smoker out. This way I'll have a motor ready to go in so maybe just a weekend of work then be driving again. I have two A15's to choose from and I know one is older and the other is newer. I haven't put either on an engine stand yet, I have them covered and wrapped in plastic at the moment. Would there be any reason to choose an older versus the newer or the other way round? MikeRL411
Would the older engine be smog exempt? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
No engines are smog-exempt, but only cars may be 1979-1980 A15 hi-po 80hp 1979-1980 A15 lo-po 67hp 1981-1982 A15 about 73hp Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
There were also some carpet cleaning machines that used A15 engines that had different heads and throttle body fuel injection.. not sure what they are rated at, but the fuel injection would be cool to grab. The machine is built by ProChem. and its called "Everest". 1 Quote Link to comment
