Oface254
Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. Anyhow, I picked up a 79 620kc about a month ago about 20 miles outside of austin tx. Sense then ive been studying the hell out of these forums. So far ive done a few things. Brake rebuild, new tires on a set of free 15x8 wheels. I backed off the bars up front. Its down maybe 2.5". I made a set of 3" blocks for the back. This is going to be my driver / project foe a while. Im hoping to have it leagal and on the road this week. 1 Quote Link to comment
laotsu
welcome to the KC club... no wearing your Members Only jacket in it, that's purely a Z-guy thing. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Front camber look good. Lowering always affects toe in. Measure from center of tread to center of tread across the front and rear of the tires. The front should be just a hair smaller than the back. If the back side is narrower it's got toe out and will drive all over the place. Quote Link to comment
jvb5577
Nice looking truck and welcome! You are lucky you got a 79. Ball joints! Makes it easy to upgrade your front and rides a lot better. Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
Cool looking truck. I like the old school bubble window. You do not see that around anymore. What are your plans? Quote Link to comment
