ggzilla
Rebuild kit not needed. There are two bushings and four bearings. Nissan sells them. If 3rd & 4th went out, its probably just the shift mechanism. Just fix that. Which transmission do you have? There were three different ones for 1980. 1 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
If nobody comes up with one ,, i'm pretty sure i know of a 4speed hidden in a back building at a yard in Hoquiam WA,, i am positive he will want $70. plus tax,, but it looks like it has been sitting a long time so not sure how drop in it will be, but if it becomes your last option i could caravan down with you and show you where it is.. And Hoquiam Wa is very far from you. Pumpkin210 or Slick Mcfavorate on facebook might know more local to you sources,, PM him. he is a really helpful guy ,,,, long winded,,,,,, but helpful none the less. 2 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
I was asking which transmission it is that you want to rebuild. There were three different manual transmissions used in 1980. If its a 4-speed just throw it away and replace with a good used one. About $40-$50 is the going rate. Quote Link to comment
