wayno
Yea, as I said, make sure all 3 prongs are in the plug, if the headlight lamp is upside down, when you plug it in only two prongs will be used unless you twist the plug upside down also, it sounds like you have no high beam on one side. It could also be a bad headlight. I have another question, can the plugs get mixed up, meaning low beam plug on the high beam lamp? Quote Link to comment
heretic
check the voltage at the plugs .... you should have damn near 13v (12.8 actually) any less & the lights are not illuminating to their full rating/potential. It may be easier to just make a new headlight harness and use the old one to switch the relays for the power. EDIT: & at 12v its like a 15-20% drop in illumination Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Are they glass bulbs or metal backs with replacable bulbs inside? Quote Link to comment
captaingamez
Okay so the issue is a slightly deformed contactor in the column switch, upon further investigation, I was not getting propper +12VDC from the switch, it just seemed like it was at the time I tested it because the contactor was in a better position. I should have them correct later today. 1 Quote Link to comment
