ChrisTwitch
Hello all, I've just gone and jumped aboard the Datsun bandwagon, I've got myself a little stock B210 (120Y Here in Oz) Sorry about the filter, the girlfriend has been playing about a little bit. I'm no mechanic but, but I was looking for something road worthy that could be a little bit of a weekend project car too, something for me to learn with. I've never really liked newer shaped cars or the fact that they feel so far removed from the road when driving, if that makes sense. I used to own a Ford Fiesta Mk1 back in the UK, but never really had the time to do much to it before moving over here to Australia. My very loose plans at this stage are to, go a bit lower, well a lot lower if it can be done and eventually upgrade the running gear from the stock engine, but for now I'll be concentrating my efforts on getting it a bit lower (hopefully this will make it corner a bit sharper than a unevenly loaded wheel barrow) and a few other little bits like eradicating some surface rust bubbling underneath the paint etc. Anyway thought I'd introduce myself....I'll probably be asking a lot of questions after I've done a little bit more reading. datzenmike
Chris, that's a nice looking car. I had a new '76 but they had the 'park bench' bumpers that ruined the look. What year is that and what rims? I like those. I agree it does need lowar. Quote Link to comment
Sierra
Awesome looking B210/120Y. Welcome to the club. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Nice one. Looks like a 1976 or 1977 going be the grille. What you can do is order some lowering springs from King. Drop it down 30 mm. Maybe fit some lower profile tyres too. Quote Link to comment
ChrisTwitch
Thanks guys...It's a 1978 model, and I'll have to get back to you on the wheels. I do like them but I think they are a little big for the look I'll be going for, and the 30mm drop may not be enough, so I think I'll be after some coilovers for the front Quote Link to comment
