dp320
I'm actually not going to use that cardboard stuff, I'm going to go with clear, scratch-resistant acrylic. Can someone that still has their original intact let me know above or below? Above--supported by frame itself but then there's a substantial edge on the top side of the tray for crap to accumulate around. Below--thin edge of the metal frame and any gunk wouldn't be in a crevice but on the tray itself, easier to clean. Tray material only supported by whatever fasteners. Quote Link to comment
zed1
On the 1966 Datsun 520 the parcel material is mounted above the shelf frame. Keith Quote Link to comment
wayno
My 66 Datsun 520 is above the frame. EDIT It seems I was beat to that one. Quote Link to comment
KFunk740
I've got two of them for my 65 L320, and they're both above the frame, where they can accumulate junk. The one that's currently in my truck just has a thin wooden board with little bolts holding it in (likely not original). My other one sitting on the shelf, which has a rotted cardboard-like piece, looks more original. It is riveted to the frame (sitting above). Quote Link to comment
