kgrantkey
I thought CD size and make that work. Bigger is probably better. Anybody done this? Maybe a large coffee can lid? I have decided to use the aftermarket cam I pulled from a junker thats in new condition. I almoxt changed my mind when the mic said the lobes were not quite as tall as my stock L20B cam then realized nore was the base quite as wide. So am I the only cheapscape that would print out a degeree wheel? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Cheap??? Copper wire was discovered by two Datsun owners fighting over a penny. 2 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Great idea. I printed mine the same diameter as the crank pulley, so the stock pointer would line up. Quote Link to comment
EricJB
I didn't print one because I am a caveman. But if you measure the diameter, multiply by 3.1416, 10 percent of that will get you close to 36 degrees. So you can scribe the pulley and set the timing at total advance. But your trying to degree a cam? Quote Link to comment
kgrantkey
But your trying to degree a cam? Yes. And because it's a non stock cam I'd like to try and verify which hole I'm gonna use in the cam sprocket. Quote Link to comment
