BigBearFoley
So here is my issue I have seen a couple of threads containing this and also have conversed with the creators of those I have some further questions. I have come to the conclusion that i need more information lol. This is what I am working with: What im putting in: - 1995 240sx Ka25de(dual cam) - 240sx 5 speed Transmission What I have in: - L20b- 4 speed tranny So here is my big issue at this point I have the dizzy for both the KA and the L20B. I am going carbed with dual mikuni/solex side drafts. So what I need to know is what do I need to do to adapt the dizzy to my application. Any ideas or knowledge are more than welcome. If you want to ask why you are going carbed let me tell you this first - Most importantly I want to - Its different and im trying to keep the 620 carbed - Sounds cooler! 1 Quote Link to comment

Logical1
Putting carbs on The 240sx dual cam engine takes serious fabrication and know-how(tig welding the the ka dizzy bottom end to the L series matchbox dizzy) that being said, It has been done... A member here named duke made it happen. I can't find the build thread but here is some decent pictures of his setup: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/40628-ka24de-710-custom-header/ This guy is hoping for the same setup and has the best Intake manifold I have seen for the dual cam. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/58552-ka24de-with-carbs-help/ I am currently building a R1 carbbed KA24de with the 1999-2004 frontier ka. This is the easiest option IMO. The L series matchbox bolts right up in similar fashion to the single cam KA. This is where is I learned about that: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/14936-ka24de-info-for-carb-lovers/ Just found dukes build: http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4712&start=390 Hope this helps! 1 Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
Any more ideas anyone? Yes, scrap the distributor and fit a $300 crank trigger ignition. Gets rid of the mechanical uncertainties, more accurate timing, very reliable and if desired can be fully adjusted for custom spark curve meaning more hp. And it looks clean. 1 Quote Link to comment

A link to a setup or parts for that would be nice. Thank you! Quote Link to comment
