If it is the long 31 inch one you could switch bellhousing from your napz one onto a 620/ Z trans i would think..The poster above me could elaborate waaaay more eloquently than me about ,,, well,,, about any Datsun transmission really.. datzenmike Posted January 7, 2014 Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Hi Dean. Your 720 will have either a 26" or a 31.5" long 5 speed in it. If you have the small coin tray in your console in front of your shifter then you have a long 31.5" transmission. All KA transmissions are going to be different lengths so the driveshaft will need modifications. The KA 5 speed will bolt to your Z24 though. As mentioned if you have the long 31.5" transmission and can find a 620, 280z, 280zx or 810/Maxima 5 speed, with some work, you can attach your front case and fit it to your truck Quote Link to comment
