hopefully you main condensor is runnning the main side and the 2nd condensor is for the 2nd set of points.

Personally I would run the points with the bigger condensor. this will be your main ignition. Disconnect the 2nd set of points by just pulling the wire. then time the motor and adjust the mixture. then run it see what it does.

dual point dizzys is more for emissions

try pluggin the vac adv to the carb also it could run better

eric what conversion kit did you buy and mine is the vacuum advance if that makes a difference i unplugged one set of points and it runs fine..also have a weber car as well two different ones actually and ran the same with either one..thanks for all the help tho regardless of this mishap..id rather have a matchbox set up to run than points..

Yep. I think the # is ML141. Not positive . I don't keep receipts around for others to see, if you know what I mean.

I should add that I don't recommend this dist with a single carb set up that could use a vac can. I tried it with a DGV and it ran way better with stock dist. I'm not going to get a vac signal out of my truck, so I went with the non vac can  Mallory.
