datzenmike
This is my tailstock from an '85 diesel 720 This is a picture I received from Australia. Well I didn't know this but lots of Nissan parts are made, or in this case cast, in Australia. The NMCA stands for Nissan Motor Company (of) Australia. So I am not surprised that you have a head with a Kangaroo on it. I doubt it's more durable. Yes KA pistons can be fitted to Z24 rods. The 12cc smaller dish will up the stock compression from 8.25 tp 9.52. Generally for every point of increased compression the efficiency rises about 5% so you would gain about 5 hp doing this. Would you post a clear picture of said Kangaroo???? Quote Link to comment

Dean720Ada
so datzenmike, does that mean the head is from australia? Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Is that actually on the head itself? It looks like its on a manifold bolted to the head. It very well could be made in Australia. Probably of equal quality to Nissan Japan plant quality. Quote Link to comment
Dean720Ada
yea its on the head....no symbol on the manifold Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
so datzenmike, does that mean the head is from australia? Looks like the front left (driver's) side. Is it from Australia? Possibly, even probably as those transmission cases were made there. Quote Link to comment
Dean720Ada
yea its located on drivers left side... by exhaust plug one... Quote Link to comment
