HonSun
Hey guys just picked up a sweet 521. Needing a little input on shock/swaybar combos. Has a 3in lowering block installed. She's going to be powered by a 220hp motor. The plan is simple, get sideways! Any input would be great. Quote Link to comment
laotsu
better upgrade the brakes before you upgrade the power plant Skib has already bought one too fast 521 for too cheap that couldn't handle it's power. Quote Link to comment
HonSun
Yea, was looking at some disk setups. I will gladly take any input there as well Quote Link to comment
laotsu
Yea, was looking at some disk setups. I will gladly take any input there as well talk to Skib, he isn't a 521 guru but he just bought a wrecked truck like you are wanting to build and may still have some of the parts you will need for sale. Tristin
Whats this "220hp motor" youre putting in there? Quote Link to comment
HonSun
It's a 2003 f20c out of a s2000. Was a road race motor guy wrecked his car and I got the motor. Doing the full harness swap and everything. Along with the 6spd tranny. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Good luck with that... I hope you post lots of pictures of the swap. When is this all suppose to be taking place? Quote Link to comment
HonSun
Lol now! Picked up truck yesterday. Gona pull the motor and have the bodywork done by this weekend. So paint and swap to hopefully be no more than a few weeks Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Do you have previous swap experience? Previous classic car experience? Quote Link to comment
HonSun
Yea. It's what I do. Just my first Datsun. Just been poking around the site and see there's a lot of good use of Z parts and and other stuff. I build most of my own stuff and why do r and d, and fab it up when you can get a good result with factory parts. Quote Link to comment

HonSun
So aside from doing a 4link setup. What are my options for handling the power and not hopping/wrapping the axel. It's got 3in blocks now. Quote Link to comment
