T.Redgrave
Small update, been kinda busy with life lol. Picked up a nice factory non-egr equal length intake manifold for the turbo motor for pretty cheap 1 Quote Link to comment

ArchetypeDatsun
Yeah those are very sought after on the L28ET swaps, get that 240sx 60mm throttle body and a nice fuel rail, nismosilvia makes them. Quote Link to comment

ArchetypeDatsun
You can make a spacer to fit but they also make them also the linkage has to be modified doesn't look hard, I had one but never used it and now that I'm talking about it I wish I would have kept it lol. This is what it looks like and there's links as well that show detailed pics. http://www.graytechsoftware.com/garage/product_details.asp?ID=1 Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
My dad actually told me to look for one and I came across it on Ebay. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
They sell them everywhere at least the 240sx throttle body the spacer I had was hand made from some sort if plastic but it looked just like the machined aluminum one. Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
oh I can get a s13 TB all day long. I'll need to look into that spacer though, the link didn't work Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Really it comes up for me every time hmmm. Here's the spacer. 240sx 60mm throttle body spacer by Muerte541, on Flickr It shows you how to modify the 60mm TB linkage to the 280z manifold, how to port match the intake and mount the TB to the intake all with detailed pics. T.Redgrave
So haven't had a lot of spare time to mess round with the wagon, my daily has started to smoke so I'm trying to finish the motor in my other project so I can rebuild the daily's engine. However, I did finally come across the wheels that I wanted for the wagon. They're called Walter Wolf Racing "Turbofans". I've never heard of or seen them, and the guy selling them (a buddy of mine) seems to think they're the only set stateside and can't barely find any info on them. I just knew when I saw them they were the ones. Our meager info came from here: and I did a really hackjob photoshop of a car with the wrong color but damn, I had to have them. 3 Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
Lol what's the heck, my friend Christopher set me that pic on FB the guy was selling them and I just posted the same wheels on the wheel section. There pretty awesome! Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
haha, had to jump on 'em quick. I figured someone in our realm of old jdm would snatch 'em if I didn't. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
For sure I would have done the same lol, how much you get them for? Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
$675 before shipping, which we haven't figured yet. A pretty decent price I think, since the only other wheels I considered were the Rota Shakotan which run just a little less before shipping...and everyone has 'em. Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
That's not bad! Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
Yeah definitely not. Besides, I'm the kind of guy who's willing to pay a bit for something that I really think will add to the car Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
What's the progress on your 810? Quote Link to comment
T.Redgrave
I invoke the holy name of Pelor to pull forth the soul of this thread from the underworld - rise, necrothread, rise! Walk again amongst the living! Lol seriously though. Been a long time since I've posted about this thing - progress is slow. I've been bouncing back and forth between keeping it. For now, I need a daily so I can sell my S14 to work on my Z32, so the wagon will serve that purpose. Here's my work at fitting a twin-core aluminum radiator meant for a 280ZX. It works pretty well. Gotta custom up the hoses and use spacers/connecting brackets for some bolt holes but it's not terrible for a temp fix. Quote Link to comment
