macgyver Posted June 22, 2013 Report Share Posted June 22, 2013 So my 510 will be going in for paint in a few weeks, i just dissaembled everything and Wanted some opinions on wheather or not to keep my exterioir antenna or hide It in the dash? I kinda like the nastalgic "manual" look but would also be nice if the pass side was clean like the drivers side. Thoughts... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted June 22, 2013 Report Share Posted June 22, 2013 On my truck I filled in the holes on the pass side. I got an antenna from a newer Nissan. It has a plastic tube that slides down the driver's side pillar and into/behind the kick pad. The antenna is a small solid wire that can be extended or retracted back into the vehicle just by reaching out the driver's window. Just a thought. Quote Link to comment

Kinda lengthy, but it eplains them pretty well. May allow you to keep your stock antenna, but have it work better...or worse lol Quote Link to comment
