Docsis510
I just bought some old school recaro seats for my 510... The seats dont have any rails or brackets.. Im trying to see if any one has installed these type of seats on there 510 and how they did it... Ill be going to the wrecking yard on the weekend to try to figure something out but if anyone knows what type of car rails i should look for that would work on the 510 and on the recaros would be great... I know vw's had recaros but vw rails are weird.. Thanksssss!!! Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Mmm.. Recaros.. Quote Link to comment
510T
I'm not sure if my seat is a real Recaro, but I was able to easily mount it to the stock (trimmed) 510 slider. Bolted the seat to a square steel tube then bolted that to the slider. The bolt spacing side to side was right on the money. Quote Link to comment
qwik510
Had a pair of these in an old 510. They fit great and are super comfy. I used modified recaro sliders but I remember reading about someone using stock 510 sliders like bababooey. The bottoms of the recaros are pretty flat and the bolt spacing is really close to the 510's. Or you can order a set of universal sliders. Something like these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/MOMO-Sparco-NRG-Invictus-Universal-Seat-Sliders-Bottom-Mount-bracket-rail-/321138578688?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac559d500&vxp=mtr Quote Link to comment
