1042medic
My 76 KC L20B seems to always be begging for gas and sputtering ever since I put on this weber. Is my stock fuel pump sufficient for this carb or am I needing to upgrade it? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
how did you get the weber? new /used /rebuilt? possible float issue ? edit: stock F/pump should be just fine Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
I run a pure stock mechanical fuel pump with a Weber. No regulator, return line connected. I've had issues when the old (aftermarket plunger type) got weak. Quote Link to comment
1042medic
Sorry guys back online, was gone a few weeks with the Army. The weber was used when I put it on, it has sat through three deployments and seems to never work the same after I return from each. Thinking about just going back to the stock carb since I can't seem to adjust/work with this weber. I appreciate your help gentleman, just when I start making progress on my 76' KC I get another set of orders!! She's gonna be smiling soon! Quote Link to comment
Dawa
have you disassembled it? id disassemble and clean it. then check the min/max heights of the float. from everything ive read, you dont connect the return line. i know mine isnt connected. after you check the heights and reassmble it, you have to adjust the idle speed/idle, and fast idle (3 different adjustment screws) Quote Link to comment
1042medic
I'll do that, thank you Dawa. Quote Link to comment
