That's correct. Cross the bridge from Hood river, when you're at the stoplight on the Washington side, there's a big dirt lot on your right. That's the one. Next to the lot is the Bridgemart (gas up there if you like), next to that is the RV park

So far three rigs, that's not bad. Draynor and Q-Tip are go. Anyone else?

Looked at the route. It features three, thirty mile sections of views and curves. It will be a great route, all county roads and alternate highways. As long as the clouds are high, which is typical, the views will be pretty amazing, this is Great American West view country....We'll be driving past knockout views of 12,300' volcano Mt Adams (at it's foothills, basically) to Glenwood.

Then down into the amazing Klickitat Canyon with hairpins galore and up into the volcanic high plateau to Goldendale.

Now through Centerville and all the wind turbines, then the up and down, twisty, oak forest turns of the Centerville Highway down into Lyle. On that last stretch we may get a two mountain view, Hood and Adams both. I'm kinda jazzed after writing this, matter of fact!

Total driving time should be around two-three hours most likely at normal speeds (hich the Deathmobile (plus a kid in the back) will be doing). Is this reasonable?

After hitting Lyle you're invited to head the three miles out of town and part way up the mountain to my place for Datsun talk, and whatever you've tossed in the cooler for the grill! All Welcome. My property is pretty cool if I do say so myself, and on a warm spring day it'll be magic!

You guys can stop in at the exit64 garage and get the nickle tour before or after the run if you want.  I am most likely not going to make it as I need to get the 2000 back together for Canby.  Running out of time.......

hell yes, it's clearing up and going to be a fun drive. When I say I'm doing something Im in. I've learned from organizing other stuff that you just name a date and stick with it. I'll be at the lot next to the Bridgemart at 10AM tomorrow one way or another.

Portland folks are so close they can come out, do the run, skip the chat and BBQ, and be back in time for early evening plans.
