Just a simple thread that any member can post progress of whatever they are doing to their z-car.

I didn't find another z-car thread like this , but feel free to lock if there is.

 

Finally had a solid block of time to do simple stuff :lol:.

I did an alternator swap on my black zxt , but no pictures.

I also did a quick compression test.

 

Switching out a bad fuel-injector , and have to pull the rail regardless.

 

Number 3# Fuel Injector was/is the culprit , and pulled off the rail.

 

Bad #3 cylinder fuel injector ... nothing wrong here ... :unsure:... you can use a fuel-injector with 1-prong only right ? :lol:

I was afraid this injector was pissing all over , or something , but compression test revealed a non-washed down cylinder :thumbup:

Switching this baby out for a proper one !

 

In the process of cleaning all injectors and deciding which to use.

Replacing all injector connectors with cheapy Bosch EV-1 connectors.

Yes! ummm, did more window shopping. just need to pay for the clutch/flywheel to finish up gathering parts for an auto -> manual swap. May not get everything i wanted done while deployed but at least 2 major things will be done. (Hoping rumors aren't correct so i can do a couple other things.)
