WTB Z22 for a LZ22 build

Just keep bumping. Sooner or later someone will. Scour craigs list too.  81-82 720's had z22 also. look for those and in junk yards.

I don't know if you could build a z24. There is one in La Habra on CL for 100.00 complete engine.

You can but the L20B and Z22 are the same block height. The Z24 is 3/4" taller so the L timing chain cover will have a 3/4" gap above it and under the head that needs filling. You will also have to add a couple of timing chain links but other than that you have an LZ24.

This is good to know because i was gonna buy a z24 to do an lz motor. So now i need a z22. Too. The hunt is on. Oh and now im gonna have my l20b short block for sale, comes with block, crank, rods, pistons, maybe the flywheel.
