j_boy_619
Will the Flex Plate Bolts in my auto transmission work for the fly wheel if I do a 5 speed conversion? If not... where can I get some that will? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They are different length. They might work but the flex plate is thinner and the bolts might not be as long as the flyeheel one. They may not have enough threads holding onto the crank. Put one in the flywheel and see how much sticks out the back... this is what's holding the wheel on. Yes it will bolt up. Will it hold or be safe? You decide. Quote Link to comment

j_boy_619
Heck no I won't. Where can I get a set of the correct bolts? Only off another 5 speed? Or would this be something I can get at Homedepot haha Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Nissan #12315-H6200 about $3 ea. Maybe you can cross reference the number at an auto supply but they won't be cheap. They have a shoulder like a built in washer and will be a minimum grade 8 strength. Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
Would rather drop 5 bucks on a bolt then who knows how much on whatever damage I might cause with crap bolts. Thank you so much! Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
Wait a minute, will these work on an A series transmission? I see it is marked for Ls Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The picture is just a picture. Nissan #12315-H6200 are for A14 standard flywheel bolts. Quote Link to comment
