Hmmm, reasonable request, therefore, for your viewing pleasure:

At least you don't ask for info on a KA swap :)

Quick post edit, if you want a pic of the hinge (having Reread your post I think that's what you may want?) I'll take another photo.

thanks Ratwagon1600 :), sorry if i wasnt clear enough. My glovebox lid has that small hinge arm but i'm trying to see how the lid is held by when its down like that. Is there another hinge? I need a top view of the lid down like that please lol :)

There's no additional hinge, it's just the one piece that is seen in Ratwagon's.  Here is a view of it from behind

When it's closed

And when it's open, the small bent tab holds the door from falling all the way down

Ok, better late than never.

First up, the glovebox assembly is held in by 12 Phillips head screws like these:

First step (obviously is to remove the screws).

Remove the complete glovebox assembly and turn it over and you'll see the following:

Next step is to undo the three 8mm nuts which hold the lower glovebox trim on:

You should now see three Phillips head screws with speed clips which connect the lid to the glovebox assembly:

Undo these and you end up with this:

Obviously the above presupposes you have a fairly original glovebox.

The hinge assembly on the lid is prone to shearing off and fixes range from 100mph tape (we also call it Gaffa or Duct tape) or custom fabbing a hinge assembly from a light gauge pliable plastic.

Anyway, enough from me, hopefully this gives you a better idea.

Cheers

All good mate, happy to try and help and besides, you gave me an excuse to pull my glovebox out to fix a crack in the frame :)

Can provide you with more measurements if needed, but, with my two cents worth, and Nismosilvias post about the hinge fix (I'll go searching for this), you should be headed in the right direction for a decent fix.
