izzo
If the carb or pump ran out of gas some times you gotta prime it. I've had to prime my carb when I chnanged jets or ran out of gas Link to comment
pwee4u2c
Disconnect the fuel line from the Carb. Put the hose into a water bottle and crank the engine, a steady flow of gas should come out of the hose... Link to comment
jesusno2
my car is intermittent I can go about 5 miles from my house and it dies everytime just like it runs outta gas. And yes I have gone through the ignition with new coils modules etc fuel system is Q tip clean brand new Weber still bogs and dies. Let it sit for 5 min and I can go roughly another 5 miles till it bogs out and dies. Its very bizzarre Link to comment

jesusno2
QTIP CLEAN even the fuel tank, all spotless. I've been wrenching on cars along time. Only thing that this reminds me of is when my old Chevy luv truck the Carb used to ice up on, it acts similar to that but I'm not seeing eveidence of icing on the throttle blades. And I've ruled out vapor lock fuel cap completely off tank vent line open to atmosphere. Fuel lines aren't routed near any exhaust heat etc. Link to comment
