sedition88
This is great info. I had to search and search for the original 620 tire/wheel size when I was looking for new tires. I'm running 15x8 wheels and when I got the truck they had 225/65/15 tires on them! When I wanted to lower my truck I needed a smaller tire, but also something that would work with the speedo and be close to stock. I'm currently running a 205/60/15 which is pretty close. Great write up  Quote Link to comment

Dawa
i saw that too. i thought it was cool/interesting how as the combo got larger, the braking distance decreased. its either better braking or faster accel Quote Link to comment
cruznude
When you run a wider rim on the front and bigger in height, isn't the rim and tire sticking out past the fender? How low are we willing to go and is this what I hear as a reverse rim? Quote Link to comment
cruznude
I want a 14x10 on the back or 15 but they stick out like 4 inches so what do I need to do to get the wheel to extend just 2 inches past the bed. I'm doing away with the dumped look and going old school with the 5 peice flair kit and want it all tucked under flair nicely. I can go with a 8" rim and that works just fine but would like that deep dish look. Can you guys give me some pointers so I don't make a costly mistake? Would a 15x7 stick out to much on the front? sedition88
I'm running a 15x8 wheel with a zero offset, I think, and with the tire they just tuck. I did have to roll the rear fender slightly and when I go lower up front I'll have to the same. Here's mine for reference. Quote Link to comment

cruznude
well, that looks good and I want them to stick out in the back. But nI want them to tuck a bit in the front. Can we offset the front w/o it being too much trouble turning and such? Quote Link to comment
