Just Joel
Looking for good condition (no bent or nicked/scratched) Hitachi/su needles. I'm in a stage of advanced tuning with my su's and would like to compile a collection of different Datsun Mxx needles to profile and potentially modify. I'm building a database that categorizes oe needle specs including detailed profile measurements. Please let me know what you have. Needles Part numbers? M66(sss) 16354-22011 M83(gx) 16554-H2316 M43 16354-15810 M76 16354-A8710 M73 16354-E3210 M87 16354-H6000 M70 16354-A7710 M6 16354-16710 M26 15354-10400 M15 16354-12210 M36 16354-14610 Thanks Joel Link to comment
crazytimme
I know you said no bend are nicked needles, But what if they where free(I would ask for postage but that seems almost petty)? They would only be good for measuring. They are in rough shape. I have one M-61 (not on you list, dont know if you have it or didnt know about it) and a M-76 If I mail them to you, I expect that your data will be released on not kept secret. Link to comment
Just Joel
M61? That is a new one... I have a couple m76 needles already but have yet to see the other. Are you sure its not a 66 with half of one six worn off? Joel Link to comment
crazytimme
I am sure, looks like M-61 with the little line on the one as it was typed. But I only have the one and its beat up so unless you have a way of machining a new one it wont do you any good. Link to comment

Just Joel
Thanks mike, that's where my list came from but according to my local dealer, none of the part numbers work. Link to comment

The plan is to have a couple machined once I find an optimal profile for my l20b (the standard m66 needles are far too lean) so if you don't mind, I would love to profile the 61 for my records... crackerjack69
I've got a bunch of SU's in my garage, how do I tell if they're the one's w/ needles you want? Link to comment
Just Joel
I'm really into all Datsun/Hitachi needle profiles. Pull the domes, remove the needles (without bending them!) And let me know what you have. Thanks Joel 1 Link to comment
OgreZL24
I have a pair of new M-39 needles. They're not on your list. I don't have a clue what they would be for...do you know? IMG_0227 by SDkvrd, on Flickr Link to comment
