Ascendashogun
Dude just get it started and save up for Paint :P Then youve got yourself a runnin roadster. Then you could redo the interior and then the motor slowly :PAnd there you have a slow project Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They are extremely expensive to 'fix up'. There are less and less of them every year for spare parts. At the least, this one could be an organ doner to put one or more other Roadsters back on the road. The price is right for another owner to pick up for a parts car. Quote Link to comment

Be a shame to be a parts car or donor then disregarded. Too beautiful Quote Link to comment
exit64
Look real close at the pictures. See all that rust? What do you think the inside of the rockers, rear fenders and every exposed bolt under the car looks like? This car would be a never ending cycle of cutting and welding. And after you got it all and then painted it, you would be seeing rust again within the year. Parts car at best. I am about to cut up a matching numbers 66 that is in better shape than this car. A little bit torn about doing it but not too much. Every part will get reused or sold to put the "keeper" back on the road. Quote Link to comment

exit64
Watch CL in your area. Rust free Roadsters pop up all the time. Easier to replace all the plastic bits than cut and patch rust. Look on 311s.org too if you are into these cars. Good Luck in your search. Quote Link to comment
