cjzeppy
I'm swapping 280zx struts onto my dime, but the one hub assembly is bent in the rear (no clue how one could be bent but it is). To me it looks like the 510 hub assembly is the same, so I wanted to ask if anyone has swapped these over before? If not can someone find me a place to buy another hub assembly. I've hit all the local auto parts stores, and a few internet resources but have come up empty. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Skib
To me it looks like the 510 hub assembly is the same no. very different spindle size. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 510 hub and smaller spindle was carried over into the early 610 and 710 Mid and late 610 and 710s should work, also the S10 and A10. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
No. The 510 uses a different bearing size as did the early 610/710s. The later 610/710, the B-210, the S10 200sx the A10 HL510, 810 all use the same hub and later large bearings just like the zx hub... and it will likely fit, but after checking the zx has a different number and so the rotor may be positioned differently. Sorry for any confusion. No the PL510 hub won't fit the zx spindle. The only way to be absolutely sure is another zx hub. Quote Link to comment
cjzeppy
Thanks Mike for the clarification. I tried going to the local auto parts stores to buy a new one, but nothing turned up. So I will have to buy a used one. Quote Link to comment
