red wagon Posted June 28, 2008 Report Share Posted June 28, 2008 i finally relocated the battery in my truck to where the charcoal canister used to be. i don't know if anybody has posted pictures about this before, but here are mine. I used a mazda miata battery. I was going to use a battery for a harley but found the miata battery is the same size but has 475 cca compared to the harley battery at 400 cca. it fit perfect. i lined the compartment with inner tube rubber. Be sure the cable can't chafe on anything. For extra protection push the pos cable through a piece of garden hose. Quote Link to comment
