uploading photos

Recommended Posts

Hi am new and want to upload some pictures of a 521 build I did in the early 80s, but just  can't seem to get it done.  Looked at the pinned topic on this and my screens do not look like topics or photobuck.  And when I hit the image icon, my whole screen goes gray?

Need help, lost in Ratsun land.

When you first log on to photobucket, do you see a small line in blue I think just at the top part of the gray field on the right, if you do, left click on that only, do not click on anything else, then pick the second option, something like the new photobucket not having things I normally use, then hit the return to old photobucket, another screen will appear, click on view or go to my albums, that should get you to the old photobucket format.

Then you just put your cursor over the photo you want to publish, a small box will open, copy the IMG code, then go to your post and paste it there.

Let me know if this works.

UPDATE for 2012 Ratsun Update - Ratsun now has two Modes for entering photos.

1. Copy the URL/Location/Address of the photo (not the URL of the page). Photo URLs end with .jpg or .png or .gif normally

On Photobucket, copy either the "Direct link" or the "IMG code" for the photo.

2. Here on Ratsun, paste the link into the Reply box

FOR "IMG code" LINKS:

FOR "Direct link" LINKS:

a. If the Image button is disabled (grayed-out), click the BBCMode button to enable it.

b. Click the Image button and a little pop-up box should appear

c. In the pop-up box, paste in the Direct Link
