WTT: Miata for 510

I would like to trade my Miata for a 510. 2/4 door. No wagons. Running/daily driver condiiton with little/no rust. Equal or lesser value.

1994 Miata B-Package - Manual

Power everything/all works

A/C and heater works

155K on motor and chassis. Runs great. Burns a little oil.

Transmission is smooth. No grinds

Clean Title, registered till May '13

 

Aftermarket Parts

-Platinum XXR 531 15X8, great condition, 1 smallll curb rash

-Hankook all-seasons, great tread left

-Raceland Coilovers, not blown, soft and decently smooth ride

-Sonic racing Bride-repica seats

-Top-Speed Pro 1 cat-back exhaust

-Hard Dog Single Diag roll bar

Just friendly advice. You may be better off selling it and buying a 510. I dont see many people wanting to make that trade though I could be wrong...

i had my BMW for trade for a couple weeks, no bites, so i sold it and bought a 510 and had extra cash to play with.

I had quite a few Miata's before I picked up my 72 a few months back.

 

 

 

As the guys above have said you will probably be better off selling it and buying a 510. The only guys I see trading are those who dont know their car very well and would be excited to get something running (like your car)

I know exactly what you mean. I looked for months and then the one I wanted popped up.... and then sold

 

I ended up buying something that wasn't as nice as what I wanted and I am actually really happy with it. Hit CL every day ( a few times and search all the way from SD to the Bay Area. It seems as the SD CL and Montery Bay always had the god cars for sale. Just look daily and they will pop up

 

Or if you wanna shell out 8K I know a guy witha  super clean 72' 2 door in SD with a  L18 in it. But for that money you can get a nice SR 510 witha few dents

sell it man. I made a mistake of trading mine for something when i couldve gotten more.

I traded mine for a 610 (worth $4k) & d douchebag who ended up w/ my car sold it for $5k w/o a hardtop after 3 months.

I love the 610 but I couldve also gotten more $$$$.

Love those first gen Miatas, we had one until the wife rear ended a receiver hitch. Sell and buying will give you more choices to pick from not just available trades.GLWS/T
