Burns a little oil. Transmission is smooth. As the guys above have said you will probably be better off selling it and buying a 510. I looked for months and then the one I wanted popped up.... and then sold I ended up buying something that wasn't as nice as what I wanted and I am actually really happy with it. Hit CL every day ( a few times and search all the way from SD to the Bay Area. It seems as the SD CL and Montery Bay always had the god cars for sale. Just look daily and they will pop up Or if you wanna shell out 8K I know a guy witha super clean 72' 2 door in SD with a L18 in it. But for that money you can get a nice SR 510 witha few dents Link to comment

I traded mine for a 610 (worth $4k) & d douchebag who ended up w/ my car sold it for $5k w/o a hardtop after 3 months. I love the 610 but I couldve also gotten more $$$$.
