Check that your valves have proper clearance. A tight valve will drop manifold vacuum.

 

Check the ignition timing and condition of the cap/rotor/wires. Damp weather ahead so check those wires.

 

Set the proper idle speed and idle mixture. Getting colder so maybe a simple idle adjustment needed.

 

Grab carb and pull on it does it move on the intake? Vacuum leak from loose bolts.

 

Check any vacuum hoses to the air filter and don't forget the big one to the brake power booster. Pinch them close to the vacuum source and if idle improves then it may be cracked or loose. Don't worry about the vacuum advance or the EGR as there is no vacuum applied at idle.

 

Listen near the back of the carb.... idle cut solenoid should click as you turn the ignition on/off/on/off.
