datsunaholic
Pull the plug wire. And remove #4 intake rocker so that it doesn't draw fuel in. Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
are you worried about the amount of smoke coming out of the tail pipe? add thicker oil. i've used the pennzoil or quaker state 50 and 60 weight. and no it doesnt clog anything. 60 weight is about as thick as 30 weight was in the eighties. has anyone notice how 30 weight pours out like water? it didn't do that 20-30 years ago. people always tell me that today's oil is better hence it's thinness. if your worried about blow by out of your valve cover just take a long hose and run it down to the ground behind the starter. if your engine fouls out #4 then get a anti fouler adapter or put on a weber. i had to clean my plus once a week until i put on a weber and then i never had to take then out again. don't know why. The old Hitachi was probably flooding or had something wrong causing a super rich condition. The Weber corrected the problem. Quote Link to comment
