JNmanning
Hey guys, just looking to get a Datsun and was wondering if this was worth fixing? http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/3387288188.html Quote Link to comment
merlin
no. youre going to be 12k into body work in no time. buy a rust free roller out of the west and transfer in the driveline from this if you want. and when was that motor rebuilt... looks like a decade ago. Quote Link to comment
luseboy
This car is for sale near my apartment. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/3394488839.html . You'd be way better off getting that and having it shipped to you. My co-worker got a Toyota Land Cruiser off of ebay, and had it shipped to him from NY to CA for $900. The quarter panels of a Z are by far the hardest body part to fix, and you practically have to buy a second Z with good quarters to cannibalize. Just a heads up though, you better be prepared to fix a bunch of rust, datsuns are all rust buckets :) 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
I've fixed worse. If it runs, and isn't too rusty, I'd say do it. But I love fixing shit everyone says I shouldn't... I know I'm not close, but I have a complete 280Z rear suspension if you want to come get it...
